ZOE & BEN | 13.11.18
Back in November I had the pleasure of second shooting Zoe and Ben’s gorgeous wedding at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. Although judging by the weather they had on the day you could easily be fooled into thinking this was a summer wedding!
Ben and Zoe were so lovely and they were more than up for making the most of their couples portraits over by the lake. It would have been quite a walk (especially in heels) but as Styal Lodge is a also golf club, there was a special caddy on hand to ferry us there and back. They even had a few ‘congratulations’ from the weekend’s golfers along the way.
It was such a lovely relaxed day full of joy and of course lots of dancing later on. Below are a few of my favourites from their day.
Special thanks to Jenni for having me as her second photographer!
THE PERFECT BLANK CANVAS
If you’re looking for an open plan, contemporary venue that still has that rustic ‘barn wedding’ feel to it then Styal Lodge needs to be on your list of places to look at. Tucked away in the middle of a Cheshire golf course, this venue is totally private and is bursting with potential to go crazy with the decor and really make the place your own for the day.
My favourite thing about this venue has to be the available light during the ceremony. Zoe and Ben exchanged their vows in front of the modern feature window which was perfect for me to capture every little moment of emotion in all its natural-lit glory.
