Videographers

This deserves a full section of its own because the style of videography you choose can have a direct effect on the quality of your photography – both in a positive and negative way.

It’s super important to know beforehand how your videographer works and whether they will complement the natural, relaxed, colourful style of photography you’ve chosen! So make sure you get to know their style by asking the right questions before you book.

Ask them about their shooting style and what equipment they use and when. A lot of videographers use multiple tripods during the ceremony and speeches so it’s important to know that these may be visible in your photos from time to time along with the videographers themselves.

Ask them how much time they need for ‘couple shots’. Often I can double up with the videographer for couple portraits, but always be prepared to set aside more time for this so that neither one of us is compromising or having to work around the other. We both want to do our best work for you!
