Lets get down to the nitty-gritty! Here you can find out more about my style and approach to wedding photography. The FAQ section below will hopefully answer any burning questions you might have too so check it out!
My style is mostly documentary with a huge focus on natural, authentic storytelling.
I love to capture things that you never even knew were happening at the time because you were so in the moment. I want you to be able to relive your whole experience through your wedding gallery, laughter, tears and all. I’m 100% dedicated to making that happen for my couples!
My approach to photographing is really relaxed even down to your couple photos. I always set some time aside for just the two of you – but these images are never forced or overly ‘posed’. Just fun, informal and most of all, awesome!
“Wow wow wow!!!! I can’t tell you how much we totally adore all of the magical moments you have captured from our day! The album is all totally perfect and such a fun reflection of how the day went, thank you times a million for being so wonderful.”
What packages do you offer?
Prices range from £350 for intimate ceremony-only goodness to £1500 for the whole shebang. Optional extras are available too such as pre-wedding shoots and USB boxes, so be sure to get in touch for a full brochure!
Do you take group photos?
I know how importrant those family photos are so I will always encourage you to have a couple at least. I suggest around 6-8 shots – just enough so your face and feet don’t start aching. You’ll have plenty of time to get back to chugging pimms and prosecco at the bar then!
What if we're not confident in front of the camera?
I totally understand because I’m exactly the same! However, I’ve been told I’m a bit of a photo-ninja so I promise you’ll be having far too much of a wonderful time to even notice my presence!
When I steal you away for your couple photos, we’ll wander around and have a laugh and a chat about the day so far. All that I will encourage you to do is be natural and focus on each other. Easy peasy!
How long have you been photographing weddings?
I’ve been photographing weddings for around 3 and a half years now, but before that I was busy getting my BA(Hons) Photography degree at the University of Huddersfield.
Going back even further (10 years actually!) I studied photography at A level.
Photography has been in my blood from a very young age and I’ve made sure to steer my career path towards it since I left high school at 16! I’m definitely in it for the long haul and I’ve spent far too much on equipment over the years to give up now!
Are you insured?
I’m fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance. I’m always happy to send over a copy of my certificate if your venue requires one!
Are we in safe hands?
I always have back-up equipment with me on the day including a second camera, a number of spare lenses, batteries, memory cards and flashes and all sorts of other exciting technical stuff!
My cameras have dual memory card slots which back-up to each other whilst I’m shooting. I upload your images straight to an external hard drive as soon as I get home (no matter what hour!) and then I back-up those onto another hard drive. I also keep your memory cards safe until I’ve delivered your gallery so there’s no need to worry, you and your images will be in safe hands!
What happens if you get ill on the day?
I’ll dose myself right up and get on with it!
In all seriousness though, if I can’t attend your wedding due to illness (it would have to be pretty hardcore) then I would employ a photographer of a similar style and standing to take my place. I would still edit and deliver your images as normal.
I will stress that this is extremely unlikely and I have never had the need to do this before!
What's the next step?
