IF YOU LOVE THE IDEA OF A CHILLED-OUT WEDDING CEREMONY WITH NO FUSS THEN YOU’LL ENJOY THIS INTIMATE WEDDING AT HUDDERSFIELD TOWN HALL!
This couple married at the stunning, traditional Town Hall in Huddersfield. It was such a lovely intimate wedding ceremony with just a few guests present. Huddersfield Town Hall is a unique building in the centre of the town and the Register Office is inside.

Town Hall Ceremony
The ceremony took place In The Old Court Room, which is a very large grand room in the Town Hall. It’s filled with traditional Victorian features such as wooden panelling and huge windows. It was lovely and bright with lots of space for their 4 guests to be seated, socially distanced of course! The ceremony was short and sweet. It was a wonderful occasion to witness, especially with the big smile on the bride’s face.
After the ceremony, we wandered around the side of the building to capture some portraits and family shots. We took photos in front of the gorgeous ornate Concert Hall doorway, which was really lovely. I got some awesome photos of the confetti bomb too! The weather at this intimate wedding was perfect. Not too hot or cold, which was great for the bride and her bump.
The Intimate Wedding
After the wedding, They drove to one of their favourite pubs for a few drinks in the outside marquee. The pub had some lovely spots for photos so we took advantage of the Yorkshire countryside view in the background. The sun also popped out for a few of their portraits, which made them really lovely to photograph.
After a few drinks, Helen and Sam planned to go home for a takeaway curry with their close family. The perfect ending to their wedding day! The whole intimate wedding was so chilled. Helen even drove to the ceremony and parked in the local Wilko’s car park!
I loved this intimate wedding at Huddersfield Town Hall so much! Get in touch if you’re getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you!
