Planning a wedding at The Engine Shed in Wetherby? You’ll be inspired by these photos!
The Engine Shed is a super cool industrial wedding venue in Wetherby. It has an urban party vibe and cool lighting. It was the most beautiful wedding and lots of fun to photograph!
The Ceremony
The ceremony was a beautiful service in the main room. During the ceremony, they had two emotional readings from the maid of honour and flower girls.
The ceremony area was decorated with a stunning wedding arch and neon sign, which I loved. There were lots of flowers on plinths and at the end of the aisle. They also had gorgeous stationery which really tied all the decor together.
The Reception
The drinks reception was upstairs on the mezzanine at The Engine Shed. I love this venue because the staff are so organised and make sure everything runs smoothly. It didn’t take long at all to turn the main floor around for the wedding breakfast.
The couple made their entrance and had their speeches on the top table. During the meal, the guests had some fun entertainment from a magician. Later the wedding party gathered on the dancefloor for the first dance. I took their first dance photos from above to show off the venue. I absolutely love this shot!
They finished off the evening outside with sparklers.
Why choose The Engine Shed for your Wedding
The Engine Shed is perfect for couples who want a big party. It is one of the coolest places to get married in Wetherby. The venue offers seriously good food – and a great atmosphere. Weddings at The Engine Shed are amazing because the building is so unique and can really be personalised to any theme. There’s so much room inside that you don’t have to worry about the weather if it’s bad. Outside the main entrance, there’s an undercover section. This means you can still get your portraits and group photos in natural light without getting wet!
Kind Words from The Couple
“…posing together was something we felt quite anxious about but Jenna really made us feel comfortable and put us at ease during our pre-wedding shoot and on the day of our wedding.
In the nicest possible way, on the day, we completely forgot she was there! When she came to say goodbye in the evening I even told her I forgot that she was still with us!
We didn’t want hundreds of staged photos as we preferred the idea of natural photos, and that’s definitely what we got!”
If you’re planning a wedding at The Engine Shed and you’re looking for fun colourful photos, I’d love to hear from you!
