99 Mary Street Wedding Photos
99 Mary Street is an urban wedding venue in the heart of Sheffield city centre.
If you love industrial features it has plenty, such as brick walls, concrete flooring and Edison bulb mood lighting. It has a really cool atmosphere for wedding photos and is the perfect location for a relaxed and intimate city wedding.
Cosy 99 Mary Wedding Ceremony
99 Mary Street is perfect for a small wedding ceremony just like this one. This couple got married in front of their loved ones and the ceremony space had flowers and candles to add to the ambience. The low light in 99 Mary Street makes everything feel more romantic, perfect for your wedding day.
I loved capturing the groom’s reaction as the bride walked down the aisle.
There is plenty of space at the top of the aisle at Mary Street, so I could photograph from the other end of the aisle and get both perspectives of the couple. I love to do this where possible.
This couple made newspapers for all their guests with fun facts, photos, and the wedding timeline for everyone to see.
Street Party Drinks Reception
The cobbled road on Mary Street lends itself to the perfect confetti photo, as friends and family can line up on either side of the pavement.
If the weather is good, guests can enjoy canapes and drinks outside and you can have your very own street party in Sheffield city centre!
As a documentary wedding photographer, I love to capture natural moments during this time as everyone relaxes and enjoys themselves.
Wedding Photography at 99 Mary Street
99 Mary Street is open plan inside and has a fully flexible layout. This means that there will always be space for group and portrait photos inside if it’s raining.
At this wedding, we took their family photographs outside on the street as the weather was good. Here’s a lovely moment of the groom’s parent looking at the bride’s ring before we started.
99 Mary Street is the perfect venue. Whatever style of wedding you’re having, the room will look amazing.
Advice for planning your 99 Mary Street Wedding in Sheffield City Centre
Consider transport for your guests if they’re travelling from a similar area or hotel. That way there won’t be lots of taxis to organise or parking to figure out.
At this wedding, the couple had a big red traditional bus which was so much fun for everyone to travel in!
I loved photographing couple portraits on the bus and all the natural, documentary moments as they travelled from one wedding venue to the next.
